In that case, here is one just for you.

I saw enough to find out a lot of skill behind it, but became as bored as an 8 year old boy at a posh performance of Swan Lake.

So after not too long put The wall on at home. Enjoying it right now thanks again Nick?

My latest DSD256 acquisition - a good selection of covers including Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive' and Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean', beautifully performed and recorded.

Dave McMurray - Grateful Deadication (2021)
A cover album of Grateful Dead songs, given the jazz treatment.
It sounds great to me, but I’ve heard very, very few original Grateful Dead compositions, so how would stack up with bona fide Dead heads I wouldn’t have the impertinence to speculate about.
I thought it might be interesting though.

Here is a pic of the rear cover showing the songs he’s tackled:

Steve I listen to first few tracks liking Dark Star most , played Dead doing same. Different league, Dead much beater. But the modern attempt though inaccurate and different style, good music by modern standards.

Dead played on valve amp “Barbarick” in my case; soundstage natural and complete. More real.

First night of the Proms.
Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music opened the concert. God it was superb.
Poulenc Organ Concerto kicked serious ass.
Sibelius 2 now underway.
Absolutely wonderful to see the Albert Hall with an audience. Quite emotional it is actually. The Vaughan Williams especially.
The system is in fine fettle now too, so what a bonus. :D

I love Vaughan Williams' music!

Anyway, I'm listening to another DSD acquisition, yet another version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons (plus some other stuff) but this one certainly has a spring in its step (no pun intended) and is an excellent recording.
