this, I found, interesting on a few levels. It hints very strongly at synergy but also gives a run down on the 'other' ways of amplifying stuff...and once again champions the SIT critters..

There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be
#2 Re: more SITs
Though I have to say I think the first paragraph is dogmatic drivel. I agree kepping the phase relationship is important, but he gives no indication how feedback will break this. Just that he thinks a is important to sound good, things that do b sound bad, therefor b breaks a.
Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

my apologies, I hadn't realised the link was to page 2, for any that hadn't realised...
here is the real link:

to your point on paragraph 1...I'm not sure now if you're referring to paragraph 1 on page 1 or paragraph 1 on page 2...don't life get trixy sometimes
in reference to paragraph 1 on page 1 then I'm in favour of illustrating the background to a review because it does set the context and also alerts readers to the possibility of misunderstanding or missing some relevent factors.....
This alludes to the premise that some poeple don't read reviews on the same level as others....some are deep readers and have a deeper understanding of these issues..some don't...
of course I believe that the readers here have that deepness, it's just that there might be passers-by, of another intellectual persuation
....insert smiley here....
edit: on reflection your comment works for both pages......
