The team I'm in has scraped into the last 16 (on shot difference) so we play our quarter final match at 10:00 this morning.
Update (just in case anyone is remotely interested). We won in the quarter finals, and the semi finals, and play in the final at 09:30 Friday morning.

Power to your elbow! You do use elbows, I would guess?

Arms mainly.

Anyway, the final was at 9:20 this morning, and we won 12-1. :D

Minor panic on the way home because I was low on diesel and every garage had huge queues, or had run out of diesel.

By luck, I found a small garage in Kessingland who had diesel and was able to get enough to get home. :)

Shame each house in the country didn't have a pipe you could connect to and get diesel out of it :-)

Anyway, well done.

Is there a problem about getting diesel lately then? (Haven't seen any news.)

The problem is with getting enough drivers for the tankers that deliver the fuel, or so I believe.

How bizarre.

I'll set an alarm for the 17:17. :D

It'll be a tad earlier at your level crossing as it's coming back from Skegness.

Cheers Ant. I'm going to treat myself to a session soldering up some PCBs for my SIT amp projects and then put my feet up

I did spend my birthday gift money earlier, I bought an Airfix 1:48 scale English Electric Lightning kit.

Real birthday treat is tomorrow when about half a dozen of us from work are heading out for a long ride, I anticipate doing about 100Km (62miles) and 1500m (4500ft) of climbing. A few of the guys are planning to continue and make a day of it and will do about double that.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Yes I did think of that. I'm not totally daft. (Only somewhat) :D
