Good point.

Talking of Nipper, I have this metal plate stuck on my kitchen wall notice board thingie which came from a very old stereogram. So old in fact that I honestly can't remember quite where it came from.

I guess that was the sixties for you eh? ;)

It has three metal spikes on the back where it used to affix to a wooden cabinet - one fell off - but is otherwise good. I hazily recall it came from a friends' stereogram that I took down the tip for them, but I liked the look of this plaque so prised it off at the time and kept it.

No red nose though....

Apparatus.

Good word that.

Just imagine saying to a delightful young lady after a night out "would you like to come in and listen to my stereophonic apparatus"

Better than "Monaural Reproduction Apparatus"?

Just showing your "Reproduction apparatus" in public thesedays would get you arrested, best keep it all behind closed doors I reckon ;-)

That would most likely be early to mid 1950's then ~ George VI died 1952. I think

Must be getting that time again soon. Came in to work this morning to find my pod dripping in festive decoration. Must be the influence of the female recently posted to these parts cos the rest of us blokes are a bit miserable.

This year to show how cool we are here would it be possible to have Nippers not only glowing Red but his paw doing a bit of DJ-esque scratching on that old turntable?

Wicky-wicky-woof-woof??!
