I tried 71a many years ago.

You need efficient speakers, it was back in my Lowther days. It was always understood in those days the lower powered dht's sounded better, but: if you don't work with extreme efficiency there is no experience of value to be had.

these days I don't have sufficiently efficient speakers to value low powered valves. Probably the main issue.
