just got david gilmours new album, live in gdansk. a concert he did in 2006 in poland. absolutely brilliant, typical gilmour with faultless playing and recording. and sadly one of rick wrights last performances. there is a polish orchestra providing the accompaniment and it works beautifully. he seems to have used the best people available, got dick parry for the sax, same guy on dsotm and wish you were here, guy pratt on bass who hes worked with since the early 80s and obviously rick wright. his untimely death adds some poinicancy to the album and made me listen more to the keyboards than i would usually have. a faultless performance from him and a great record

There was a program on TV last Friday about the concert.
Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

That was on before the one about Gilmour and the shipyards. It was very good though (better In fact)

Should I be pleased to have an "itus" named after me ?

Why not.

Strictly speaking in medical terms the suffix "itis" means "inflammation of..", thus appendicitis is inflammation of the appendix. Pre65itis therefore means inflammation of Pre65, something a number of people have been guilty of over the years! :D

Nice !

I have been re-reading my favourite book "you can heal your life" by
Louse L Hay,and trying to put into practice her teachings.

It has made me think differently about so much in life (particularly the past) and made me much less agitated by my two most favourite antagonists, neither of whom are members here.

Roll on more banter, humour and goodwill !!!
