Depends on who's doing what to whom!
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

I went out for an hour & a bit yesterday in the dark ( mostly ) . It's still fun using the new front lamp and being out in the dark... long may it continue.
On the other hand, today I developed a cold. I reckon i had three days when I felt normally after getting over Covid, now i feel just as ill again. Curses. I really need to find more excuses for not going into work.

With the dark evenings upon us and the awful wet weather I've been Zwifting for most of my rides over the last three weeks or so - the only outdoor riding is when I commute into the office two or three days a week.

This evening I did another race on Zwift, a stage of the tour of Makuri, Zwift's name for a virtual Japan. I've done half a dozen races and they certainly motivate me and my average wattage is around 20% higher than when I ride on my own. So tonight was 35Km (21.8miles), which I completed in 58:35 - here are the stats and the picture below is me just after crossing the finish line having outsprinted the guy next to me (I was 5th in a sprint of about 15 riders).

 Audio-Talk Team Diode back in the saddle.

Today a mighty 10.3 mile journey was completed, it only took us 1Hr 9Mins 7Secs (ish). Bwahahahaha, it was nice to be back in the saddle after such a rotten/long time off. Big Ta to Thomas for the gentle encouragement.

In memory of Wilko Johnson R.I.P we took a ride 'Down to the Jetty'.

I need to get some local loops in to get my legs and lungs working properly again but the next Team Diode (there's 2 of us see?) ride, hmmm, maybe "that-there-famous-London".

Cheers again for the help today Thomas.

It's great to see you gentlemen back in the saddle - keep going!

Meantime, I did an after work ascent of the virtual Alpe d'Huez - it says I set a new PR but its not as I managed the climb in a few seconds under the hour back in the spring time but still pretty satisfied with the effort.

Good news !

I went out today around 3pm and had another light-into-dark ride on the valley roads.
I've just about recovered from my cold that followed the Covid, felt pretty good and did 1hr33mins. That was enough.
Got rid of some residual snot along the way.
Shame there was no late sun, the trees are very colourful right now.
