We used to cover that in a band I played in. It was good, but Jeff's version had the edgeIslandPink wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:21 pm Saw that, yes. The vid just needed to be a bit longer, so he could review 'Big Block'.

Jeff Beck - yeah I wonder 60 odd years on stage. Now totally in control of what happens and pretty simple music too. The audience, who ever they are, full of complacnt awe or just good food and wine.
I've only seen Jeff once back as much as fifty years ago with Carmine Appice and Tim Bogart. Several folk with whom I've rubbed shoulders back in the day said Jeff's great but oh so difficult to play with you have a set to play and he does...what he wants.... groan... and he gets the credit.
Now, simple stuff, so much confidence and his band does just what he wants - that trill vibrato pretty easy to chuck in here and there - is that great?
I don't think so.

^^^ Right! That does it!
My Mum says you're not allowed to come round to our house no-more and play after school.
And, you have to give me all them colourin' pencils back I gave you. You can keep the Genesis cassette though.

OMG! it's totally like pissing slabs of rain on our cottage where the shores are washed with blue green algae Windermere.
I did something unusual last night in the pinot noir from Aldi department. I have an appalling cold which makes my covid episode simply a bit weird.
Red wine in my experience does not help cure a cold but last night I felt better and got some sleep. This morning mucus from my nose is doing what rain is doing to the lakeside shores. I feel dreadful. - ran out of lemsips on Monday night.
Perhaps what I wrote about Captain Sinor Beck could have been less stentorian. Apologies to the reader...
More coffee.

I hadn't seen this documentary before, but it's one of the best I've seen :
