Dido - Still on my Mind.

Don't know how long it will last but I'm really enjoying this album - fabulous production quality and Dido sounds so much more confident than 'Life for Rent'.

Love - was thus Giles Martin's first foray into mixing the Fab Four?

Stunning flamenco bassists appeal A Lot.

OK, this 'Love' thing. Lots to like but 're-mixed' it most definitely is, but there is so much that has been added ( more than cutting and splicing) - was there that much retrievable on the cutting room floor???) that I don't recognise it all as being Beatlishproduce. Has young Giles got in the session men? It's an awesome mix and very much more subtle than 'If six was nine', which I like a lot and I don't think Jimi would have minded - but even so eh!

Look, here's a thing... the new Revolver clarity and all. The bass guitar on Lucy in the sky..in any original, we can take to be Paul on the Hohner bass - well the new Revolver Bass sound sounds almost synthesised in its clarity - not even a Fender precision let alone a 'beatle bass'.

Poppo that's clever... at the end of Octopus' garden there's a clear reference to Peter Green's Albatross, love it then clickety clack into Lady Madonna.... Great stuff.

On the National Trust Beatles tour in Liverpool while Anna was busy being an Audiologist supremo I was nostalging. We were waiting for the bus to pick us up from Paul's house and there was the piano in the front room.... as I sat down to play I thought I can't even play Lady Madonna any longer.. so I did boogie woogie and in the applause a liverpudlian wag called - it's not about you you know!

I laughed - we all laughed. Too true!

Love continues to spin on the hard drive - come together! Great stuff.

Useful Greg ta, but I heard so much that well...wasn't quite George, John, Paul and Ringo...just as long as you keep the 'click track' going. I'd like to know more about the process. I like the finished article.

'IF six was nine' is more blatant and dated by the sampling technique ( lack of RAM! but it never failed to stun me just how much you could do with an Akai s2000 sampler - I like that too .

I'm pleased that he has his music on the streaming platforms, and if you like it his material is available to purchase from Bandcamp https://adambenezra.bandcamp.com/, and also from Qobuz

He's a great musician and composer, and I really like what I'm hearing :)
